I spent three days having an internal debate about these earrings.
I knew what the inspiration was. I just wasn't sure how to name them without getting in trouble. They reminded me of Silpada Designs.
As many of you know, my love of jewellery has been lifelong, but it really blossomed when I became a Silpada Rep in 2012. I LOVED this job. It wasn't always easy, but I loved everything about it, the jewels, the other ladies, and the hostesses and customers who became friends. I loved the conferences, and the joy it brought to everyone around me. I ended up being successful with it; I was a Star Leader, which means I was in the top 1% of the company. I earned trips to Panama and Atlanta, and I had a WONDERFUL TIME!!!
Then it ended. The devastation was palpable, but the one thing that didn't change was my love of jewellery.
Obviously I can't name these earrings the Silpada Earrings. Someone, somewhere would disapprove.
The two ladies who started Silpada are named Bonnie and Teresa. They started it when they met as young mothers, searching for a way to earn some extra money. They succeeded beyond their imaginations, and beyond the dreams of those who joined their company.
