“They don’t match!” Yes they do!
Last year, I met the wonderful Kathryn at a networking event, and she instantly struck me as friendly, warm, and just generally awesome.
Kathryn is a beekeeper and the heart behind WizBee Honey. She manages bees across five locations in the Durham Region, which is impressive enough on its own—but she also creates an amazing range of honey products. It’s not just honey—think pollen, honeycomb, and other bee-related goodies.
On top of that, she educates students, hosts events, and is incredibly busy all summer long… like a very organized, very determined bee!
It was actually Kathryn who suggested we collaborate. I was excited right away—even though I’ve spent most of my life slightly terrified of bees. This partnership might just be the beginning of the end of that fear. (Turns out bees are not the villains I once imagined… they’re actually kind of adorable and absolutely essential.)
