Princess Elizabeth Necklace
Anyone who has known me for while knows that I loved Queen Elizabeth. I'm still devastated that she's gone.
I get to thinking sometimes about what her life woukd have been like if Edward VIII hadn't abdicated. She may have ended up as Queen anyway, if Edward and Wallace Simpson didn't have children. But if they somehow did, and she was the niece/cousin of the Monarch, she would have been an inconsequential member of the royal family.
THE Queen wore a three strand pearl necklace often. It must have cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.
I like to think that she may have worn something like this if history had unfolded differently. This one doesn't cost thousands of pounds!
