Priti Bracelet
Every so often, I get a visit from a Bead Fairy.
Andrea, what the heck is a Bead Fairy?? It’s a person who has been purging their house, and has decided to get rid of a lot of old jewellery, old craft materials, or unused jewellery findings. Then this person passes on to me all this stuff. My sister is one of these lovely people, and also a friend from curling, named Preeti. A while back, Preeti left an unassuming box on my front porch. What was inside it blew my brains out.
There were thousands of beads! Not all were usable for me, but there were real pearls, real stones, and about one million czech glass beads, which are not cheap. I will not have to buy certain jewellery findings again for a very long time.
Preeti also asked me if I would make some pieces with daisies. Yes I can! The daisy is my favourite flower.
Here’s the Preeti Bracelet!
Freshwater pearl, sterling silver, stainless steel
