Not necessarily a bad witch, but definitely not like Glinda either. More like Samantha or Sabrina. Nowadays, I suppose I would settle for being a Molly Weasley.
For Halloween, I'm always going to be a cat or a witch.
In 2024, Juliet, out of the blue, suggested we go to Salem, Massachusetts for her week off from school. This was all her idea, and I don't know how she could have known that this was a dream of mine, to visit there someday. So off we went!
The first day was miserable due to a torrential downpour that lasted all day. But the rest was so good, I could hardly stand it. We saw the memorial for the women and men who were executed for witchcraft. We saw museum exhibits that really brought the tragic story to life. And we shopped!
Of course, there were many, many costumes. So much fun!
Here's the Salem Village Necklace! I am VERY excited about this one. I may wear it every day, forever...
