California 1998 - While on the Highway 1 drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles, there was one stop I was really looking forward to making. It’s a beautiful drive down a spectacular coast. Close to Santa Barbara, there is a castle. You have probably heard of it, it goes by two names - Hearst Castle or San Simeon. We were running a bit short on time, so I almost decided to skip it - WOW I am so glad we did not skip it.
This place is magnificent. The pools! The decor, tiles, and the incredible history are lodged in my brain forever.
These earrings remind me of the tiles in the indoor pool!
